Our next upcoming event is the Spring Gala. The last Tuesday in April, we hold our annual fundraising gala dinner at Sunnybrook Country Club in Grandville. The gala is our biggest and most exciting event of the year. This event is the kick-off for our new year of giving, where we celebrate our victories and share our vision for what’s next. An annual guest speaker is invited yearly to present further inspiration. There is also a silent auction. All of the proceeds go toward our organization.
Join Family Network of Wyoming for the 12th annual golf classic! Help raise money for the Wyoming food pantry that supports local families through providing food, education and medical equipment to those in need. Grab a friend or three and join us Friday, July 13 2018 for a 4-person scramble. Shotgun start at 1:00pm.
It’s only $75 per golfer. $85 day of event registration.

Late in the summer, we plan an annual yard sale. This is a fun time where neighbors and friends can band together in fellowship and share a story or to, as well as a couple of treasures. All of the proceeds we raise go directly to our organization.
Cow Pie Bingo
Our Fall event is Cow Pie Bingo. This event is hosted at our facility, and usually takes place the third Tuesday of every October.. Tickets for the bingo event are $100 for 5 tickets or $25 per ticket. This is a family event with games and arts and crafts for kids, with hamburgers and hotdogs available to eat. The winner of Cow Pie Bingo wins a $500 gift card to Byron Center Meats. Additional raffles also take place.
The Christmas store occurs the first week of every December at Grace Reformed Church, located on Burlingame Ave. The store is open for local families in need to shop for Christmas gifts at discounted prices. Gift wrapping is provided by our volunteers on site. To qualify, an individual must have a child age 15 or younger and have visited Family Network’s food pantry at least three times in 2018. Shopping times will be assigned for each individual. Please call 616-885-9919 for further details or questions. Registration begins early October and ends the first week of November.
In addition, in partner with Grace Reformed Church we host a different Christmas Store at Helen Devos Children’s Hospital, where any leftover gifts are available for sick children to shop for their families.
