Food Pantry

Nourishing the community with food

We serve clients in the greater Wyoming area, Grandville, and Jenison. Over the course of a year, our pantry feeds 10,000 people. Our 40 volunteers donate 1,400 hours of their time to serve 900 people per month. We distribute a million pounds of food a year to those in need. The food that we provide is food that we would put on our own table–not food we would cast aside. We offer fresh produce, eggs, dairy, bread, and meat. With one trip, we provide a shopping cart of food to an individual/family in need.

Our pantry also caters to those with chronic illness, food allergies, and other dietary needs, such as:

  • Gluten Free
  • Allergy Free
  • Diabetic Diet
  • Renal Diet
  • Other

Lead Pantry

Another area of growth for Family Network of Wyoming is the Lead Pantry Program. Our sponsors needed a professional grade organization to prevent waste and take care of their extra food shares. We answered the call by collaborating with our program sponsors to create a process that would provide consistency and uphold the food quality and distribution standards that our sponsor organizations need. With this work we are able to share our bounty of daily donated food with other local pantries.
