Food Drives

“A food pantry that shares; a community that cares”

Family Network of Wyoming is always in need of nutritious food to support our neighbors. Hosting a food drive is a great way for your business, congregation, youth group, or community club to make a meaningful impact. If you’re interested in organizing a food drive, please follow the steps below:

How to Host a Food Drive
  1. Contact Us
Email info@fntw.org or call 616.885.9919 to let us know you’re planning a food drive. We’ll be happy to assist with promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and collection boxes.
  2. Access Our Needs List
Download or print our most recent Food Needs List to help guide your collection efforts and ensure we receive the items most in demand.
  3. Choose a Drop-Off Location
Select a central and visible area where donors can drop off their items. Make sure it’s easy to access and clearly marked.
  4. Provide Collection Containers
Use grocery bags, boxes, barrels, or carts for collecting donations. Label containers with signage provided or created by your team.
  5. Plan for Convenience
If you have a large company, congregation, or multiple entrances/locations, consider offering more than one drop-off site to encourage participation.
  6. Schedule Pick-Up or Drop-Off
Once your food drive concludes, coordinate with us to either drop off donations at our location or schedule a pick-up if needed.

Your generosity helps us serve hundreds of families each month. Thank you for being part of the solution and making a difference in our community!
